Tobie, Patient Greeter

Tobie, Patient Greeter

Tobie was born to be an Edelweisser!  He proudly wears the Edelweiss name when he is greeting our patients at the office. He’s been known to help our patients get through their dental treatments by smiling his way through the windows.

In his free time, he loves to snuggle, enjoys long walks on the beach, and delights in rolling around on the grass. His favorite treat is steak, but he will eat just about anything :)

Whether he is perusing the back gated area or napping in the office area, he is thrilled to get petted! He just loves people and attention. Feel free to request him as your therapy dog during your dental treatments!

Tanya is very passionate about dental hygiene! Her hygiene philosophy is to provide the highest quality of care, while helping her patients maintain a healthy smile. Her goal is to create a welcoming experience by presenting patients options for their dental hygiene, so THEY can choose what is right for them!

Her favorite thing about being your dental hygienist is hearing the patient stories. She loves learning new things from the patients that sit in her chair. So please don’t come shy to your dental cleanings J

In her free time, she enjoys tropical vacations and camping (two extremes).  She loves photography, decorating and setting up for small events and parties! She also stays busy by being a mom to three young boys!

Tanya is an amazing cook! Her specialty is sweet treats, which is dangerous for her fellow team members.  It’s a good thing we can sit in her chair to avoid cavities!

Nicole, Registered Dental Hygienist Tanya Kornuta, Registered Dental Hygienist

Nicole enjoys building genuine connections with her patients.  She strives to ease any concern that patients might have from being in the dental chair. Her goal is to make it a fun and comfortable visit.

After attending high school in Chicago, she knew immediately that her passion was dentistry! She went to pursue her Dental Hygiene degree and graduated in 2014.  She has been practicing for over 5 years now.

A move from Chicago to Portland was a natural fit because she enjoys going to yoga, cooking vegetarian meals, eating out at the latest and greatest restaurants, and being outside!

You will also find her at the dog parks with her Dachshund mix puppy named Luca.  She spends a lot of her time coordinating his doggy playdates, doggy daycare, doggie socialization, and doggie training classes.

If you have time, she can give you lots of tips on getting a puppy acquainted to a new home or tell you all about the hot new restaurants in town.
